Key Responsibilities
Comply with Cummins HSE police and Values.
Applies and supports the execution design processes.
Create optimized design concepts by applies engineering knowledge principles and design practices considering application, cost, weight, performance, reliability, durability, manufacturing, assembly, and serviceability with guidance from more experienced team members.
Communicate design intent through a thorough Design Review package, obtains agreement with cross-functional engineers by holding a review meeting.
Qualifications and Competencies
Skills
Intern is required to be at least Bachelor with full-time education major in Internal Thermal and Power Engineering (Internal Combustion Engine), Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Design and Manufacturing, with the following skills:
Familiar with internal combustion engines, understand mechanical design principles and basic material mechanics knowledge, and master at least one drawing software.
Good reading and written in English, oral English is preferred.
Ensure 3-4 days of attendance per week.
Good communication and learning skills.
Familiar with Microsoft Office.
When recruiting interns, Master graduate from 985 and 211 are preferred.
