DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Field Service Technician to join our high performing field service team in Toowoomba, QLD. In this role, you will complete preventative maintenance and/or basic repair activities on engines and related components at the customer site with minimal direction.

You will make an impact in the following ways:

• Engage customers in a courteous and professional manner. Anticipates and ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs.

• Maintain service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.

• Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisor.

• First responder to breakdown events

• Fleet maintenance

• Capturing engine data

• Fault diagnostics

• Diverse range engine repairs, both major and minor

• Inspect and replace components as required

• Engine rebuilding and reconditioning

• Working autonomously as well as having the ability to work in a great team environment

• Work with other major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)

NOTE:

This role will be 38 hr week minimal with OT and on call for one week out of four.

Mining, Automotive & Industrial.

Relocation may be offered to the right candidate

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• A high level of heavy duty engine experience in the field or from the workshop looking to move into the field

• Relevant trade qualification (Heavy Diesel preferred but not necessary)

• Strong engine diagnostic experience

• The ability to work autonomously/remotely for extended periods

• A genuine commitment to workplace safety

• A valid driver’s license

• Good interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
