DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented 2 nd Shift Manufacturing Shop Operations Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Seymour, IN.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Significant level of relevant work experience, including managerial, leadership, and budgetary experience, required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Information:
This is a 2nd shift on-site position at the Seymour Engine Plant.
This role will include an additional 8% shift differential.
In this role, you will manage 4-6 exempt employees and serve as the shift superintendent, overseeing the overall production of multiple departments. Your responsibilities will include planning, prioritizing, and communicating the daily activities of the Operations and Materials teams, with a strong dotted line to other functions. You must ensure effective communication and reporting to other shifts, both electronically and verbally.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with 5+ years being preferred. Previous experience in leading a production team or exempt employees is also preferred.
