We are looking for a talented Administrative Associate - Level IV to join our team specializing in Finance for our CUMMINS in San Luis Potosí, SLP.
Job Summary:
Acts as an extension of senior management ensuring a positive customer experience while being the representative of senior management to others. Provides administrative support and performs numerous duties, including scheduling, writing correspondence, emailing, overseeing visitors, routing callers and answering questions and requests.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Compiles, consolidates and conducts analysis of accounting and finance information.
Prepares standard journal entries that require analysis.
Performs more complex monthly and annual account reconciliations.
Prepares tables, charts and other exhibits for reports.
May perform complex accounting projects or participate as a team member on complex projects.
Performs ad hoc reporting requests as needed.
Runs monthly cost updates and/or prepares standard cost data including annual cost role up.
Maintains cost master; creates and maintains costing for new items.
Analyzes cost variances (IPV (Invoice Price Variance/PPV (Purchase Price Variance) and monthly movements), determines root causes, and prepares recommendations and alternatives for improvements for review by supervisor.
Ensures production and publishing of inventory related system reports.
Creates and maintains costing for new parts.
Performs calculation of standard rates and updates the system where required.
Supports and completes inventory related reconciliations.
Monitors and follows-up on aged inventory, including inventory with outside service providers.
Supports inventory valuation process.
Supports various internal and external cost and inventory audits.
Supports the annual and quarterly physical inventory and cycle count processes.
Completes the analysis of material cost variances, helps to determine root causes and prepares recommendations for review.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables)
Intermediate English level (B1 or higher)
