DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present financial analyses and reports for department managers.

  • Collaborate with assigned organizational units to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting.

  • Support the month-end close process, ensuring accurate financial consolidation and reporting.

  • Analyze financial data, including trends, variances, and cost analysis, to provide insight into the organization’s financial performance.

  • Execute special projects and ad-hoc financial reporting as assigned by leadership.

  • Load actual and forecast data into the financial system.

  • Prepare and explain expense variances, heightening spending awareness within the organization.

  • Provide guidance to business partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant or equivalent degree in finance.

  • US GAAP: Ensure compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles when recording transactions and communicating financial data to stakeholders.

Skills and Experience Needed for the Role:

  • Financial reporting and analysis capabilities, with a focus on detailed variance analysis and cost reporting.

  • Proficiency with data visualization tools and financial modeling techniques.

  • Strong communication skills, able to present financial data clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

  • Understanding of ERP systems and experience with data loading and financial consolidation processes.

Experience:

  • Minimal relevant professional work experience in the field of finance.
