DESCRIPTION

Responsible for overall production in engine Assembly & UPFIT. Manages day-to-day activities to initiate improvements in safety, quality, and productivity. Works within a Team Based Work System (TBWS) culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle production for NEB engines UPFIT as per daily production requirements.

  • Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly production plan activities.

  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams.

  • Timely communication on shortages and line stoppages.

  • Provide technical guidance to subordinates.

  • Promote TBWS culture within the team.

  • Work on continuous improvement projects through Kaizen, 7 Step, A3, JDI, etc.

  • Conduct CAPA on final inspection discrepancies and maintain RFT data as section KPI.

  • Maintain proper documentation for NEB engines daily production.

  • Actively participate in new engine product launch hard validation with engineering and quality teams.

  • Maintain 5S and safety culture in the section.

  • Plan and update requirements for NEB engines UPFIT new parts in the system.

  • Manage NEB engines core and inventory.

  • Verify DOEMS kit parts storage and shortages with SCM team.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience in remanufacturing activities related to engine UPFIT.

  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Soft Skills

Experience

  • Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
