DESCRIPTION
Manage the project management activities for Human Resources and coordinate, prioritize, negotiate and manage the execution of all assigned projects and contracts. Lead the analysis, project identification, budget, communication, and integration of Human Resources projects. Utilize experience with Human Resources Consulting to collaborate with partners to apply sound judgment informed by knowledge, skills, and experiences to diagnose, identify and optimize opportunities to provide holistic solutions, while balancing the needs of stakeholders and employees, with those of the organization. Collaborate with business management to identify short and long-term projects to be undertaken and approve business workflow and project design, assess business needs, Project Manager capabilities and available project budgets. Manage project risk using quality tools including 7 step problem solving techniques and six sigma methodologies to identify areas of risk, and work with Project Managers to identify alternatives and solutions. Lead change management activities ensuring smooth transition during project lifecycles. Monitor project success measures and understand the status of specific projects and assignments. Advise project managers on the design and development of project plans and timelines. Manage the project managers and delegate project assignments based on availability, ability and developmental needs. Measure and analyze key performance indicators (KPI) to deliver functional and business performance improvements related to HR investments. Ensure that project managers leverage experience of cross-functional resources and resources external to the project team. Utilize Data Analytics to discover, interpret and communicate qualitative and quantitative data, and simultaneously apply statistics, data validity, data visualization, and problem-solving approaches to effectively extract meaningful patterns and business insights. Provide developmental feedback to team members and coach other project managers in managing teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Positions require a Master’s degree in Business or Project Management or related field and 3 years of experience as a Project Specialist, Project or Quality Manager, Administrative Assistant or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Project Management or related field and 5 years of experience as a Project Specialist, Project or Quality Manager, Administrative Assistant or related position. Experience to include: Human Resources project management; Human Resources Consulting; Balance stakeholders; Project risk management; 7 step problem solving techniques; Six sigma methodologies; Change management; Design and development of project plans and timelines; Analyze key performance indicators (KPI); Data Analytics, data validity and data visualization.
