DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented General Manager for Americas to join our Stamford | AvK brand Cummins Generator Technologies organization in Americas in Minneapolis, MN.

The General Manager-Americas directs the sales and marketing of Stamford | AvK – Generators in Americas and supervises the operations of CGT organization in Americas.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Drive organizational success by meeting or surpassing key performance indicators.

  • Optimize financial performance and resource management.

  • Create strategic plans aligned with business unit goals to ensure profitable growth.

  • Through Managers, enforce operating standards across various functional areas such as customer service, finance, and human resources.

  • Anticipate and address issues that affect multiple departments to ensure smooth operations.

  • Foster high customer satisfaction and continuously improve customer interactions.

  • Lead Six Sigma initiatives and drive ongoing enhancements within the organization.

  • Cultivate high-functioning teams by setting goals for training, development, and career planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required.

  • Advanced degree in Business or related field preferred.

  • Green Belt certified.

  • Significant experience required, including managerial, product, customer, and budgetary experience.
