DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Lubrication Maintenance Technician to join our team at Cummins Turbo Plant in Ladson.

QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Information
As a Level 1 Lubrication Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing the oil and coolant systems across our assembly and machining areas. This role is an entry-level position and serves as a steppingstone toward more advanced responsibilities in Level 2 and Level 3 technician roles.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Oil & Coolant Maintenance : Perform routine checks and changes of oil and coolant in machinery and equipment to ensure proper performance.
Oil Filter Changes : Replace oil filters during preventative maintenance (PM) schedules to maintain optimal engine and system performance.
Leak Detection : Identify and repair leaks in oil and coolant systems, ensuring minimal downtime and preventing further damage.
Basic Troubleshooting : Assist in diagnosing oil and coolant-related issues and escalate complex problems to senior technicians and maintenance planning team.
Safety Compliance : Adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and other safety protocols during maintenance tasks.
Path to Progression:
- This position provides hands-on experience and training in lubrication systems, with opportunities for advancement to Level 2 and Level 3 roles based on performance and skills development.
Beneficial Experience:
Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with a focus on lubrication and cooling.
Familiarity with industry-standard safety practices (e.g., LOTO) and maintenance procedures.
