DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented School to Work – Information Technology (Student) to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Cummins Inc. facility in Indianapolis, IN .
*This position will be Part-time with a maximum of 19 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Education
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Current Enrollment : You must be a current student in high school or in a college/university pursuing a degree in Technology, Science, Engineering or related fields is preferred.
In Good Standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher highly preferred
Experience
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
Understanding of agentic coding with Claude Code, GitHub CoPilot, Cursor AI and others.
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its core services like EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, etc.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Understanding serverless computing and microservices architecture is a plus.
Basic knowledge of networking and security principles in the cloud environment.
Self-motivated with a desire to learn and explore new technologies.
Previous experience with AWS or cloud development is a plus but not required.
Good understanding of software development principles and concepts.
