Cummins Inc. Warehouse Coordinator - Level II in Henderson, Colorado

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Henderson, Colorado.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Under some supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse

  • Check for damages and for discrepancies between goods and invoices

  • Process returns and/or defects to support Assembly production

  • Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space

  • Pick, pack, and dispatch incoming and outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders

  • Primary function of role will be picking parts to Build of Materials.

  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery

  • Communicate with customers by phone and in person

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Requires some work experience or immediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

  • Requires certification to operate powered industrial vehicles (reach trucks, order pickers, pallet rider, etc.)

  • Logistics and warehouse experience preferred.

  • Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds occasionally, wear required personal protective equipment

  • This is a fast-paced warehouse environment, there will be a lot of standing and lifting.

  • Please note, this is a first shift position.

  • This position does not require any Department of Transportation (DOT) related pre-screenings.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Performs basic parts picking and allocation within BMS.

  • Safely operates PIV's to pick items.

  • Able to complete documentation and record keeping.

Experience:

Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Logistics and Warehousing experience preferred, including 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) provider management.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

College, University or equivalent degree in Business, Engineering or related field preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports and advanced level computer skills.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
