DESCRIPTION

We are looking for talented Production Associates to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Plant Operations department at Cummins in Darlington, UK.  

Working a weekly rotating shift pattern, you should be able to commit to both shifts:

• Monday – Friday: 6.00am to 2.00pm

• Monday – Thursday: 2.00pm to 11.30pm

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Operate machines and production equipment to manufacturer parts.

• Maintaining both quality and safety standards while following HSE guidelines.

• Remains flexible and perform other miscellaneous tasks as required to meet production goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Welding experience - a recognized qualification and experience in Mig Welding is required for this position. (Applicants will be required to demonstrate Mig welding competence before an offer of employment will be made).

• Manufacturing knowledge.

• Ability to work under their own initiative within the recognized process.

• Ability to self-manage in order to achieve production targets.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/ Experience:

• Mig Welding – qualified or time served Mig welding competence is required.

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

• Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
