DESCRIPTION

Define, determine, analyze, document and communicate the objectives, business requirements, and priorities for information systems and solutions. Utilize Project Issue and Risk Management to plan, organize, staff, lead, and control an organization to accomplish the goals. Work with application and technical experts on the solution design, implementation, support, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems. Lead a group of analysts to elicit, analyze, and document functional requirements across the five aspects (process, information, event, socio-political, and location) as appropriate for complex initiatives. Elicit, analyze, and document non-functional business requirements. Utilize Business Analysis Toolkit to define the business outcome that the proposed work with provide and justify the investment of resources. Lead and conduct requirement management activities as necessary. Analyze information regarding the impact of changes within the organization or between organizations, ensuring the effects of the change are well understood and approved by all appropriate stakeholders. Create and define solution design complete with instrumentation and measurement, using industry standards and tools, version control, and build and test automation to synthesize diagrams, models, and documentation in order to build a solution that meets buildability, business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements. Utilize Oracle EBS Suite, including Oracle Financial module to configure, perform fit gap analysis for new business requirements and contribute in implementation of new entities, processes and enhancements. Lead and conduct solution assessment and validation to endure functional and technical specifications meet the identified business needs. Review test plans and testing methodology to mitigate risks. Compose and decompose a system into its component parts using Solution Functional Fit Analysis for the purpose of studying how well the component parts were designed, purchased and configured to interact holistically to meet requirements. Conduct complex problem analysis and resolution as needed. Act as a point of escalation for complex, non-routine problems. Analyze relationships and interdependencies between requirements based upon their complexity and value to the business in order to determine feasibility and prioritization. Develop and maintain positive relationships with both business leaders and other functions involved in downstream technical processes. Utilize root cause analysis using the formal problem-solving approach for recurring issues and utilize troubleshooting skills to anticipate, recognize, and resolve hardware, software, application, and operational problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Positions require a Master’s degree in Information Systems or Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience as an IT Analyst or Consultant, Computer or Software Engineer, or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, or related field and 6 years of experience as an IT Analyst or Consultant, Computer or Software Engineer, or related position. Experience to include: Project Issue and Risk Management; Business Analysis Toolkit; Solution design; Oracle EBS Suite, including Oracle Financial Module; Solution assessment and validation; Solution Functional Fit Analysis; Requirements Analysis; Root cause analysis.
