DESCRIPTION
Manage, develop and implement programs composed of multiple cross functional projects from inception to completion using experience with Business Planning and Strategy. Partner with key business stakeholders to ensure a successful project completion. Strategically apply cross-functional knowledge to collaborate with multiple functions across the business in order to drive product improvement and ensure successful product launches. Facilitate project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to determine the scope and objectives of each project using knowledge of Scope Management. Solicit and organize customer requirements using Voice of the Customer to assist business stakeholders in establishing project performance goals. Create cost-effective designs for manufacturing, by providing input and design project plans, develop timelines, identify project milestones, and track performance against performance goals and timelines. Manage Project Risk and use quality tools to identify areas of risk and alternatives or solutions such as Agile Methodology, Fault Tree Analysis, Six-Sigma, and Failure Mode Analysis. Responsible for the internal and customer technical reviews, and technical decisions pertaining to new product development programs. Lead DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) and DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) for continuous process improvement initiatives, and to measure and identify solutions for associated program issues. Interact with customers and internal/external suppliers to define requirements and monitor implementation. Proficiently use Value Package Profile (VPP) to define, develop and release new products, and revise current products. Leverage experience of cross-functional resources and resources external to the project team to enhance success of the project using experience with Resource Plan Management. Use knowledge of cost levers and their impact on net present value (NPV) and Gross Margin to maximize profits on any given project, summarizing their impact using sensitivity analysis. Develop, coordinate, or monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operation of product designs. Manage complex schedules integrating multiple sub-projects. Coach and mentor team through various stages of the project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Positions require a Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Program, Project or Marketing Specialist, or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Program, Project or Marketing Specialist, or related position. Experience to include: Business Planning and Strategy; Scope Management; Voice of the Customer; Project Risk Management using Agile Methodology, Fault Tree Analysis, Six-Sigma, and Failure Mode Analysis; DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) and DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control); Value Package Profile (VPP); Resource Plan Management; Impact of cost levers on NPV and Gross Margins; Sensitivity analysis.
